The Mineralize blushes by Mac are one of my favourite blush formulas. They are soft, lightweight and extremely flattering due to the luminous shimmer. They appear to reflect the light giving an amazing glow to the skin which looks very healthy and natural. It is very difficult to overdo it with these blushes.
I recently picked up the shade petal power. As it appears quite dark and bright in the packaging, I was slightly afraid it wouldn't suit me but was drawn to the warm, subtle gold shimmer in this blush. It is a very warm pink that I imagine would look great on darker skin with warmer undertones. On my pale skin, I think it looks much better when applied lightly (shown in picture below). It can otherwise look a bit unnatural. It has the perfect amount of pigmentation you would want in a blush. You won't have to spend ages layering it on but you also won't look like a clown with one sweep across the cheeks. I really like this blush and think it would look great on all skin tones if applied differently.
If you don't like shimmer, this may not be the blush for you as it definitely is quite luminous and glowy. However, it does seem to be less shimmery than some of the other Mineralize blushes. If you like the 'healthy glow' look or want to try it for yourself, I highly recommend this blush.
